Look Great on Wedding Day

Every bride wants to look great on her wedding day, along with taking care of skin, hair, wedding gown and wedding shoes, it is also essential that brides take good care of how their bodies are. Imagine you are all decked up but have a flab, huge arms and a not so toned body; this can make you look not so great a bride. Having a healthy diet, a strict workout regimen at least 3 months before the wedding sure helps you look a radiant bride.

Things to Do To Look Great On Wedding Day

Know Your Body

First thing, know your body; check if you need to lose weight on certain parts of the body, you could be having thick arms or a bulging waistline or both. Chalk out a work out regimen that suits your lifestyle and begin to workout on your problem areas. If you want to fit into a figure hugging bodice, you need to lose that extra flab.

Take the Stairs/ Walk

Walking is one of the most trouble-free and effective methods to lose some extra calories, if you live on the top floor, take the stairs, avoid the elevator. Walk to your nearest grocery store, leave your car behind. Go for an evening jog in the park, but make sure you enjoy all that you do; you could plan for the next day shopping list while you jog.

Set Realistic Goals

You obviously cannot lose weight drastically, it’s a slow and steady process and depends on the amount of exercise you put in everyday. Getting into a smaller size too soon is expecting the unexpected to happen; you also wouldn’t want to look like a completely different person shocking your fiancée on your wedding day.

Eat Healthy

Eating healthy is key to looking great on your wedding day , include loads of fresh fruits, juices and vegetables in your everyday diet , these do wonders to your skin , giving the much needed glow and radiance. Eating healthy does not mean you starve yourself, have your regular meal but make sure it is healthy. Avoid indulging on junk food, those tempting fries, colas and cheese laden pizzas are a big no-no if you want a flawless complexion for your wedding. Start a healthy diet a good three months before your wedding for fantastic results. Don’t skip your lunch/dinner getting caught up with your shopping, eating on time is essential.

Water

Drinking 8 glasses of water per day keeps you skin looking soft and supple. Carry a bottle of water at all times, keep sipping even while you shop, this keeps the skin hydrated.

Rest

Get a good nights sleep before your wedding, a good 8 hours sleep will help rejuvenate you skin, making it fresh and glowing. Avoid smoking and alcohol before the wedding night, if you have to attend a pre wedding party, make sure you get back early and sleep.Relax and have a soothing bath, light some candles, listen to some good music, this works wonders to looking great on your big day.

Make-up

Be soft on your make-up, avoid being too loud and garish with your eye shadow and lipstick, keep it subtle to enhance your features and complexion than taking the attention away from them. Be comfortable with your gown, you need to carry it with élan.
